The Natural Park of Ports belongs to a limestone massif situated between Catalonia, Valencia and Aragon. Abrupt rock faces, home to Spanish Ibex, and dense pine forests are its main habitats. At the foothills, extensive olive groves provide habitat for a lot of birds. North of this mountain range, the Terra Alta region features mediterranean scrubs, woodlands and agricultural land. We recommend to combine a visit to this area with nearby Ebro Delta for a more diverse experience.
